Anabel and David's Almeria Wedding in Almeria: A wedding among cactus.

The Cabo de Gata Natural Park is a natural space of wild beauty. Here the desert landscape coexists with the cliffs of the sea. A natural, dreamlike place to celebrate an wedding in AlmeriaThe beaches are almost untouched and the vegetation is wild, with cactus and the typical pitas of the area.

Anabel and David were captivated by the beauty of this area, and this is where they decided to hold their post-ceremony party. here). For this they chose one of the most charming spaces: The Genoese Factory. An old rope factory that has been restored and maintained as a venue for events. One of those places that preserves the beauty of times gone by in an incomparable natural setting.

So with this environment, we had at our disposal a wonderful canvas on which to build a decoration that was at the same time well cared for and integrated into the surroundings. For this we worked with a colour palette of greens, bougainvillea and yellows that blended in very well.

We welcomed the guests with a welcome corner that we decorated to highlight the beauty of the place and which we accompanied with a lemonade corner. This first welcome point became an improvised photocall where the guests and the bride and groom took their group photos while enjoying a drink and a small snack.

Carolina Bouquet was in charge of all the staging, as well as the floral decoration of the rest of the celebration. Our team of wedding designers worked closely with her and the caterer, Borageto achieve a staging that would appeal to all the senses.

As we mentioned, this welcome corner became an improvised photocall where the bride and groom, as well as the guests, took photos to immortalise the happiness of that day. A perfect corner for a wedding in Almeria.

Anabel looked spectacular in a Pronovias gown, which was customised for her at Pronovias Granada. She accessorised her look with a bouquet of Carolina Bouquetheaddress, headdress of Nicte Tocados and styling (make-up and hairdressing) by Tonylo García Stylists.

Welcoming guests with a mint lemonade is always a great idea for spring and summer weddings. A refreshing idea that in this case we accompanied with some bags of homemade potato chips that were given to the guests on their arrival. All served by Borage.

Our team of wedding designers also arranged other reception pointsThe wedding was held in the factory where the wedding was held, with a corner of sunglasses, much needed in the area, and raffia pai-pai, a nod to the past.

We also set up a corner to share part of the bride and groom's story with the guests.

The guests enjoyed a wonderful cocktail. We had to move it inside because there was a strong wind blowing that day, but it was perfectly integrated inside the factory. The gastronomic corners such as the cheese table, the ham cutter and a large selection of canapés were outstanding. Many of the canapés were a nod to Arabic and Granada cuisine, the bride's city of origin.

One of the most special corners was "El rincón de la Lela" which we created especially for the groom's grandmother. We wanted to create a comfortable space for her, where she could sit and feel like one of the most special guests that day at the wedding.

The children were also provided with a children's corner, a cosy space, with teepees and little houses and all the necessary games to play accompanied by their monitors.

All the stationery The wedding stationery, from the invitations, sitting, minutes, posters, signage... was designed by the groom. The stationery perfectly reflected the colour palette of the wedding and the location where it was held. A very elegant and special stationery.

Like giftThe bride and groom wanted their guests to take a little piece of Cabo de Gata home with them and remember it as the months went by. For this reason, they gave each guest a small cactus, a crasa, an element that the bride also wore in her bouquet.

For lunch, we worked on a set-up of long tables. We created a Tuscan style lunch, with imperial tables. To highlight the place of the bride and groom, we decorated their chairs in a special way, with two vegetal hearts with the letters MRS and MR.

The tables were exquisitely decorated. Lush garlands of greenery and bougainvillea included yellow and fuchsia orchids, craspedia and lemon slices, brought from a family tree, planted by the bride's grandfather.

All the elements fitted perfectly with the tableware that we chose together with the caterer, the floral decoration that the florist took care of, as well as the elements such as waiters and minutes that we incorporated into the decoration.

The moment of the cake was a surprise for the bride and groom, who did not know that the bride's nephews were going to give her this gift. For this, Lussocake I designed a four-tier cake in the bride and groom's favourite flavour: carrot cake. Carolina Bouquet added the floral decoration and we finished off the cake with a personalised topper with the bride and groom's name.

A very special moment was when the bride, Anabel, gave the bouquet to her sister, our director, Almudena Fernández. It was one of those moments that brought one tear to our team's eye .... after another.

To accompany the party, we had a buffet of doughnuts which we accompanied with other candies and savoury treats. Without a doubt, it delighted all the guests... And there is always room for more sweets.

Once the party has started, it's time to leave the heels and headdresses behind and dance!

And this is the summary of one of the most special weddings that our team experienced last season. We keep the image of Anabel and David by the sea, surrounded by a wild landscape, pitas and cactus.
