Are you one of those who dream of a wedding in a farmhouse? Well, you can't miss this post with photos of Jess Photo.
The story
Tania and Fran, had the illusion of celebrating their wedding in a farmhouse. But not just any farmhouse, the family farmhouse.
Tania had spent great moments in her family's farmhouse in Alcalá la Real. That's why she was looking forward to celebrating her wedding there and sharing her little oasis, her roots and her history.
So this is the story of a wedding that took place at home. In the bride and groom's own home, a wedding in a farmhouse.
The Organisation of the wedding
Without a doubt, organising a wedding at your homeis no easy task. For this reason, Tania and Fran knew from the beginning that having the help of a Wedding Designer & Plannerwould be very useful. In addition, they live in another province, so having a wedding planner in Jaén was very helpful. To this end, they contracted our Organisation of the wedding. And from there, we started to work.
The first thing we did was a technical visit to the venue to see its possibilities and the technical aspects we had to organise. Without a doubt, when organising a wedding at home, there are many additional aspects to manage that you don't have to worry about in a space prepared to organise weddings.
In our first technical visit, we saw the feasibility of holding the wedding there, of distributing the use of the celebration spaces, we decided on the area for the kitchen installation, the bathroom areas for guests etc... There are also many purely technical aspects that we had to supervise such as checking the electrical power, the drinking water outlets, the installation of external toilets... And of course, setting the plan B in case of bad weather!
So it was many months of working together with the couple, planning but also designing their wedding at the cortijoa wedding totally rural.
Preparations on the wedding day
Well, after many preparations, Tania and Fran's wedding day arrived. Their wedding in its farmhouse had arrived.
Fran prepared himself in a very cosy hotel in Alcalá la Real. He was accompanied by his family and friends.
Tania, however, chose to dress in her family home. Surrounded by her mother, sister, grandmother and friends. Undoubtedly, in her preparations there were many beautiful moments as shown in the photos from Jess Photo.
Tania took care of all the details for her rural wedding with great care. She ordered wedding ring frames with the same olive tree design as her wedding invitations.
Her wedding dress was a blousy design from Vanderwildewhich was definitely perfect for her. She paired her dress with powder pink bootie heels. The One Hairdressers She was given the task of creating a flattering up-do with a braid and natural flowers. Ana Aesthetics was in charge of her make-up.
The bouquet was a beautiful design by Armiflorwho was also in charge of the floral decoration of the farmhouse.
The ceremony
After the preparations, the bride and groom travelled to the family Cortijo for the ceremony and subsequent celebration.
The groom was the first to arrive accompanied by his mother. The guests, who were already seated in the courtyard of the house, were waiting for him to experience first hand the wedding in a farmhouse.
Tania arrived shortly afterwards accompanied by her mother to walk down the aisle to the altar. A whole group of page boys accompanied her to the altar.
We organised the ceremony in the central courtyard of the farmhouse. The bride and groom stood under a vine and sat together on a bench in the house. The officiant's table was an old restored sewing table which we decorated with baskets of flowers from the house.
The image of the courtyard was beautiful, like the whole wedding. We did a great job of integrating decorative elements from the farmhouse (such as milk churns, baskets, carafes...) with other elements such as flowers, etc. We will talk about the decoration in more detail in another post.
The ceremony, officiated by a family friend, was very emotional. It was attended by friends and family and there were some surprises prepared for the bride and groom, such as a first toast with beer.
The exit of the ceremony was one of those unforgettable moments, they left through the gate of the farmhouse, decorated with milkmaids with flowers that covered the sides of the gate creating a garland. A work, once again, by Armiflor.
After the departure, the bride and groom celebrated with two coloured smoke flares, as the celebration began!
The celebration
The bride and groom took advantage of the incredible surroundings of the farmhouse to have their photos taken. The result, the beautiful photos that Jess Photo took for them, both in the courtyard and in the surrounding fields, or in the photocall that we created for them. rural wedding.
After the photo session, the bride and groom joined the celebration. They opted for a cocktail wedding format, with various gastronomic corners. Catering was in charge of Mirador Atalaya Real. Without a doubt, we love this format, much more informal and casual, which allows all the guests to interact and enjoy the wedding with a lot of intensity.
The wedding in a farmhouse Tania and Fran, lasted until the early hours of the morning. They intensely enjoyed their wedding in their family home.
