The weddings thematic rural or in rural environments, they are one of our favourites. They allow us to do great design and decoration work. And the result are weddings with rural decorations beautiful. The style is casual and works especially well for cocktail weddings, like the one at this wedding.
Today we bring you the rural decoration of Tania and Fran's wedding that we shared with you last week. You can see the post here.
A beautiful rural wedding where we did, as always, a bran down as a team. We highlight the floral decorations of Armiflor which you can see in these photos of Cristina Ruiz.
The previous study
As we told you before, Tania and Fran contracted our service of Complete Wedding Organisation. Like wedding designer and plannersThe first thing we always do is a technical visit. In this visit we analyse the technical needs such as: water intakes, power sockets... And we also decide the distribution of spaces that we will use for the wedding celebration.
At Tania and Fran's wedding, we took these images during our technical visit. As you can see, we decided to use the large esplanade in front of the farmhouse for the celebration. The inner courtyard inside the cortijo was used for the ceremony.
We show you the before and after pictures, because they show in a very graphic way the work we did for the rural decoration of this wedding. As you can see, there are images of the technical visit and the process of setting up the marquees and floors days before the wedding.
Day of the technical visit
Days before the wedding
As you can see, the installation of dreams and a tensioned marquee is already a big change for the space. These elements would be integrated with the rest of the decoration on the wedding day.
The wedding day
For this rural weddingWe designed a decoration that incorporated elements from the farm itself (furniture, milk churns, farm implements, baskets...) with other external elements such as flowers. We tried to make the decoration as sustainable as possible, reusing elements from the farm and also reorganising decorations throughout the day.
The decoration of the henhouse
The farmhouse has a chicken coop. And from the very beginning we wanted to incorporate it into the rural decoration of the wedding. To do this, we decorated the area and left the hens in semi-freedom, so that they could also enjoy the party that had been organised.
For the rural decoration of this area, we use farming tools and other decorations such as water jugs, oil cans, etc...
The decoration of the tent
The teepee-shaped tent that we set up on the large esplanade of the farmhouse was used to provide shade for the lunch. This marquee was very well integrated in the surroundings and in the theme of rural wedding.
This rural weddingAs I was telling you, it was in cocktail format, so under the marquee there were some support tables. The gastronomic corners were also located. Two large plant rings hung from the central poles.
Around the marquee, we placed several decorative corners. Such as a large door with photos, a table for signatures, a gift table, several decorative still lifes with a rural theme and even a rural photocall.
Decoration of the marquee environment
Around the marquee, there were different areas with buffets for the cocktail party, as well as rustic-style table areas, informal seating areas with straw bales or even a corner with gifts for the guests.
Undoubtedly one of the corners that I liked the most, as you could see in the post of this wedding, was the photocall corner. A photocall with decoration for a rural wedding. Next to it, the bride designed a rural coat rack which we decorated with milk churns with flowers.
Decoration of the ceremony
As we mentioned earlier, the inner courtyard of the farmhouse was the area chosen for the ceremony. In the decoration of the ceremony, we tried to integrate the furniture with the decoration of the courtyard itself. For this, we included the white Tiffany chair, which stood out on the stone floor.
We decorated the chairs with olive trees from the farm itself, and in the dream we placed carafes with more olive bunches. We reserved some seats with personalised stationery designed by the bride, also in a rural style.
The courtyard of the house itself was really beautiful. An Andalusian courtyard with farm tools that oka bride's family prepared for the occasion. We, as wedding designers and planners, even advised them on the colour of the plants, which as you can see stood out for the fuchsia pink tone.
The ceremony table was an old sewing machine, which the bride's aunt restored for the occasion. On the wedding day, we decorated it with flowers following the colour palette.
We placed an area for the pages of the wedding, a carpet with cushions so that they could sit close to the bride and groom. We also decorated the old mill wheel with a flower vase.
But without a doubt, if there was one element that stood out for the decoration, it was the exit of the farmhouse. We decorated the door with two white milkmaids with flowers, and we created an arch of vegetation that went up to the top of the door. It looked spectacular in the photos of the bride and groom as you could see in the previous post.
At the end of the ceremony, we set up an antique dressing table where the guests could take their paipai and heel protectors.
And you, would you like to celebrate a rural wedding on your own farm? We would love to help you to design your rural wedding, and above all, to make it a reality.
